This Cookie Notice explains how Cobalt Payments Inc. ("Cobalt") uses cookies and similar technologies on the gateway.cxbolt.com Merchant Portal, our websites, and the hosted pages we serve on merchants' behalf. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
1. What These Technologies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. Session cookies expire when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. We also use local and session storage, pixels/web beacons, and software development kits in limited cases. We refer to all of these as "cookies."
2. Categories We Use

3. What We Do Not Do
- We do not use cookies to sell personal information.
- We do not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
- We do not permit third parties to place advertising cookies through the Portal.
4. Third-Party Technologies
Limited third parties may set cookies to deliver services on our behalf — for example, cloud hosting and content delivery, error and performance monitoring, and support tooling. They act as our service providers under contract and may not use the data for their own purposes. See the Sub-Processor List.
Certain assets are loaded from third-party content delivery networks. Those providers may receive your IP address and basic request metadata as a technical necessity of delivering the asset.
5. Your Choices
- Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and warn before accepting them. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the Portal.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor GPC and comparable opt-out preference signals where required by law.
- Do Not Track. There is no common industry standard for DNT; we do not currently respond to DNT headers, but because we do not conduct targeted advertising, there is no cross-site advertising activity to opt out of.
- State opt-out rights. See Privacy Policy Section 11.
6. Merchant Responsibility
Where our technology is embedded in your website, checkout, or hosted page, you are responsible for your own cookie notice and for obtaining any cookie consent required by law for cookies set in your context. See the Data Processing Addendum.
7. Changes and Contact
